The Second World Youth Week of C.O.C.

 H.H. Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria & Patriarch of the See of St. Mark,

cordially Invites 200 youth representing most of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese abroad to spend one whole week in the Blessed Land of Egypt. During this week, the participants will discover the history, enjoy the present and visualize the future of Egypt in the bosom of the Mother Church.

 Since the Coptic Orthodox Church was first established in Egypt; therefore it is appropriate for the 2nd & 3rd youth generations who were brought up abroad to know & enjoy the roots of their Church. Renowned for its 7000 years of civilization, the youth will experience the love bestowed upon them by their Mother Church extended to all her children all over the world in the land of Egypt.

1. Age: 22-28 years old
2. Have good health & have the ability to adapt to the Egyptian community
3. Should be able to speak and understand the Arabic language - as he/she will be serving youth in some villages and good command of English langauge\
4. Have a role or provide service in their church abroad
5. Have a letter of recommendation from his /her father of confession
6. The candidate should have a cultured, cooperative personality with an exceptional contribution and vision
7. Be willing to see the tasks assigned to them throughout the week
8. The symbolic entry fee is 300US$ or equivalent, this includes accommodation, visitation, transportation & print-outs

Our Diocese has been granted 4 seats to represent our youth population, All youth who meet above selection criteria, are encouraged to submit a registration form between (Dec 15-Dec 22), 2019, then a lot will be drawn on Dec 29th to pick the 4 winning candidates
